The Accelerator is a 75-hour training program in psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy. The training program meets for three weekends yearly. The dates for the 2024 training year are Friday, May 17th - Sunday, May 19th, (9:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.), Friday, August 16th - Sunday, August 18th (9:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m.), and Friday, November 15th - November 17th, (9:30 a.m - 5:30 p.m.). The training provides 63 CEs for Illinois Social Workers and Counselors and for Registered Dietitians (RD/RDN), DTRs, NDTRs, and clinicians Certified in Public Health (CPH). It also provides 75 psychodrama training hours for students who are working toward ABE certification in psychodrama, sociometry, and group psychotherapy.
