Celebrating our Independence:
What do the Fourth of July and Bastille Day (July 14th) have in common? They are the days that France and the US declared their independence. What date did you declare your independence? Or are you still working on it!
In this workshop we will explore whether or not this is the best time for you to declare your independence.
During this day of training and personal growth using Psychodrama, we will explore our specific needs for personal independence. With whom? To what end? When?
THE DAY: This experiential day will include a short didactic presentation, a warm up ,one or more full psychodramas, sharing. and de-roling. Time will be made available at the end of the day for Psychodrama students to engage in processing the techniques used in the dramas.
FEE: $190.00. Early bird: $175.00. Partial scholarships may be given at the Instructor’s discretion. Six hours of Psychodrama Training credit will be available

PRESENTER DR ELAINE ADES SACHNOFF PHD TEP is the Founder and Director of the Psychodrama Training Institute of Chicago[1981-present]. She is a Clinical Psychologist and a TEP Certified by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Group Psychotherapy & Sociometry, the author of the Warm Up Book and numerous articles on training. She consults to hospitals and universities in the Chicago Area
Group psychotherapy can be a life-changing experience, offering the participant multiple opportunities for meaningful interactions with others, experiences critical to the process of healing, growth and change. These sessions feature the use of psychodrama action techniques and psychodrama within group psychotherapy, while teaching theory and technique also invaluable for individual, couples and family therapy, for becoming a psychotherapist in general, and for anyone working towards self-improvement. The participants of these sessions will have the opportunity to experience the magic of growth and change, while gaining training and expertise in basic but powerful psychodrama techniques.
