PERSONAL POWER UTILIZING THE WISDOM OF THE WITCHES
What can we learn from the “witches of olden days” and the present day Wiccans? How can their knowledge help us to access our personal power? During this day of training and personal growth using Psychodrama, we will explore our specific needs for personal power. With whom? To what end? When?
WHEN: SUNDAY October 28,2018 10:00AM -4:00 PM
WHERE: LINCOLN PARK AREA [NEAR DIVERSEY AND SHERIDAN] [exact address provided with registration] building parking available $8.00 for 12 hours
THE DAY: This experiential day will include a short didactic presentation, a warm up ,one or more full psychodramas, sharing. and de-roling. Time will be made available at the end of the day for Psychodrama students to engage in processing the techniques used in the dramas.
FEE: $190.00 Early bird: $175.00 Partial scholarships may be given at the Instructor’s discretion. Six hours of Psychodrama Training credit will be available

PRESENTER DR ELAINE ADES SACHNOFF PHD TEP is the Founder and Director of the Psychodrama Training Institute of Chicago[1981-present]. She is a Clinical Psychologist and a TEP Certified by the American Board of Examiners in Psychodrama, Group Psychotherapy & Sociometry, the author of the Warm Up Book and numerous articles on training. She consults to hospitals and universities in the Chicago Area

Group psychotherapy can be a life-changing experience, offering the participant multiple opportunities for meaningful interactions with others, experiences critical to the process of healing, growth and change. These sessions feature the use of psychodrama action techniques and psychodrama within group psychotherapy, while teaching theory and technique also invaluable for individual, couples and family therapy, for becoming a psychotherapist in general, and for anyone working towards self-improvement. The participants of these sessions will have the opportunity to experience the magic of growth and change, while gaining training and expertise in basic but powerful psychodrama techniques.
Dr. Shelley Korshak leads these psychodrama workshops. The next workshop is Saturday, October 27th at 9:30am-12:30pm
Rising Strong™ is a highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The methods were developed to help men, women, and adolescents learn how to show up, be seen, and live braver lives. Join us for this closed group and put recovery in action. Action methods and sociometry are used to deepen our ability to own our stories of struggle give us the power to write a daring new ending. Struggle can be our greatest call to courage and the clearest path to a wholehearted life.
