From Frost to Flourish: A New Year Psychodrama Training
Step into the new year with intention, clarity, and embodied action. This one-day psychodrama training invites participants to explore personal and professional transformation through experiential techniques that engage mind, body, and heart. In the quiet of winter, we often find space for reflection. From Frost to Flourish guides participants to examine the roles they’ve inhabited, release what no longer serves them, and rehearse the identities they wish to step into in the year ahead. Through role-playing, empty-chair work, sculpting, and action-based exercises, participants will deepen their self-awareness and leave with practical tools for ongoing growth.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of the day, participants will be able to:
Identify and enact roles that support desired personal or professional growth.
Practice psychodramatic techniques for exploring internal conflicts, hopes, and
aspirations.
Who Should Attend
This workshop is ideal for mental health professionals, educators, social workers, coaches, lawyers, nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals, managers, team leaders, and HR professionals and anyone interested in incorporating psychodramatic methods into their work. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and participate.
What to Expect
By the end of the day, participants will be able to:
Identify and enact roles that support desired personal or professional growth.
Practice psychodramatic techniques for exploring internal conflicts, hopes, and aspirations.
Facilitate and guide role-based exercises safely and effectively in a group setting.
Use future projection and role sculpting to envision and rehearse meaningful changes.
Workshop Highlights
Experiential exercises focused on releasing old roles and stepping into new ones.
Empty chair, doubling, and role reversal techniques for clarity and insight.
Previous training in psychodrama and/or acting is NOT required. These sessions are for anyone from the first-time participant to individuals with advanced training in psychodrama.
A lunch break will be provided.
Psychodrama has been used all over the world in many different clinical settings and has helped in the treatment of mood disorders, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, chronic mental illness, and relational issues.
